It's that time of year again! The "unofficial" kick-off for the season at the Lake of the Ozarks - St. Patrick's Day. As many of the waterfront restaurants open up and more tourists start to visit our area, it's an exciting time of year. The Historic Bagnell Dam Strip is home to the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade! This yearly event offers fun and community for locals and visitors alike. It's a fun way to celebrate this exciting holiday. A bunch of floats travel down the strip, throwing candy for kids of all ages to enjoy! Many restaurants and bars along the strip offer drink and food specials to help everyone celebrate. It's a great time to get out and kick off the season at the Lake of the Ozarks! Be sure to come early to get a good spot for the parade!

This year marks the 26th Annual St. Patrick's Day Water Parade! It's a unique way to celebrate the upcoming holiday, lake style! Decorate your boat and be a part of the parade to kick off the spring season at the Lake. The parade will begin and end at Captain Ron's in Sunrise Beach, MO. An optional breakfast buffet will start at 8:00 am and the boats will board at 9:30 am, set sail at 10:00 am. Celebration Cruise & Tropic Island Cruise will also be sailing in the parade if you would rather join one of those boats. Be sure to reserve your spot and show your St. Patrick's Day spirit!
