Though making your home look like a photo in a magazine would be ideal, it’s just not realistic for most of us. It’s important to understand why you’re doing what you’re doing, so read on for a few more of my tips along with my explanation. Give Purpose to Your Rooms The last thing you want your home to feel like is a maze. When you host an open house or when buyers take a tour, they will be walking through your home. Each room in your home should have a distinct purpose, and your staging should reflect that. If your living room has a television, make sure the screen is visible when sitting on each piece of furniture.
