July is PGA Family Golf Month, and the Lake area is blessed to have several excellent quality golf courses.  If you are a golf fan, or are interested in becoming one, then you would be very happy buying a home at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Not only do I know all about where to find the best real estate at the Lake of the Ozarks, I am an avid golfer, so I can definitely point you in the direction a some amazing places to play.  



Golfing can be a great way for a family to spend a day together and get some exercise and fresh air in the process.  Family Golf Month is promoted to show the game as a fun way for families to engage in a little healthy competition, and it's marvelous for teaching kids discipline, honesty, and sportsmanship.

Osage National Golf Resort

The original 18 holes at Osage National were designed in 1992 by Arnold Palmer. An additional 9 holes have been added since then, creating three 18-hole combinations.  Osage National features a clubhouse, Tournament room, driving range, 2 large practice putting greens, a full-service restaurant and bar, and a pro shop.  Condos are also available on site for rental.        


Old Kinderhook

This masterpiece course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and travels through the Ozarks hills, rock waterfalls, and flowering trees.  They have practice ranges, 2 putting greens, short game and bunker practice area, clubhouse and pro shop, fine an dcasual dining, locker rooms, lounge meeting rooms, swimming, tennis, and health and fitness areas, and a newly built hotel. 


Lodge of Four Seasons

This resort has two courses available to the public.  The resort itself contains restaurants, pools, Spa Shiki, and more. 

The Cove
This course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and opened in 1973.  It boasts a classic design and beautiful views of the Lake of the Ozarks.    

The Ridge
Opened in 1991, the Ridge was added to offer Lodge guests a resort style course that all levels of golfers could enjoy.
