Memorial Weekend may have come and gone, but the summer season at the Lake of the Ozarks is just getting started. This weekend marks the return of another thrilling event that attracts thousands of both locals and vacationers - Lake Race 2016. Lake Race 

 This weekend, skilled drivers will take to the water in high-speed performance boats to compete for the grand prize, cheered on by thousands of excited spectators. In addition to the watching the races, attendees will have the chance to meet the drivers in person and see the boats up close. It's definitely going to be an event that you won't want to miss!

 Lake Race 2016 ~ Schedule Of Events

 Wednesday, June 1 at 6:00 PM: Lake Race Volunteer Celebration
Location: Beavers at the Dam
Team captains and their volunteers will organize final responsibilities for the weekend's events. Volunteers will receive their t-shirts and complimentary appetizers will be served.

 Thursday, June 2 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM: Festival Of Speed
Location: Osage Beach Parkway West of Grand Glaize Bridge
Participants will get to enjoy numerous exhibits including motorcycles, boats, fast cars, and more. Local vendors will provide music, entertainment, food, and other goods. The State Park will be available for extra parking, and shuttle service will be provided starting at 4:00 PM.

Friday, June 3 from 4:00 - 11:00 PM: Lake Race Meet & Greet Street Party
Location: Historic Bagnell Dam Strip
This is your chance to meet and greet Lake Race drivers and see the racing boats up close and personal. Lots of entertainment will be provided, as well as a Kid's Zone for the little ones. Shuttle service will be available starting at 4:00 PM. Please park in the lower campground.

 Saturday, June 4: Race Day
  • 10:40 AM: Opening Ceremony at Beavers At The Dam
  • 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Races
  • 7:00 PM: Awards Ceremony at Beavers At The Dam
  • 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM: After Party at Beavers At The Dam

Sunday, June 5: Walks and Fun Runs
  • 9:00 AM: Lake Race 5k Walk or Run starting at Beavers At The Dam
  • 10:00 AM: Lake Race Props And Hoses Fun Run starting at Beavers At The Dam
