19th Annual Spring Harbor Hop
Saturday, May 7th, 2016
More than 40 different restaurants and other locations around the Lake Area are coming together to participate in this exciting, highly anticipated event. Sponsored by the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitors Bureau, this event attracts both locals and vacationers from several surrounding areas. Participants will draw individual cards at each location they visit to put together a 7-card poker hand. As long as the completed hands are turned in by 7:00 PM, they will have a chance to compete for some great cash prizes - and, of course, ultimate bragging rights!
Harbor Hop Rules
Players can sign up at any of the participating locations. There is an optional entry donation of $20 (but players are encouraged to provide this entry donation, as the cash prizes will be a percentage of the total entry donations.) Players will then travel to (at least) seven different locations, picking up additional cards at each place they visit. If they wish to pay an additional $5, players may draw an optional 8th bonus card to potentially improve their hands. Players may also enter more than once; that is, they are welcome to build multiple hands.
As mentioned earlier, completed hands must be submitted by 7:00 PM in order to qualify. If all of an individual player's cards were drawn from locations within a specific section, he/she will have a chance to be recognized as a section winner as well.
Harbor Hop Prizes
All qualifying hands will compete for cash prizes. The prize allocation breakdowns are as follows:
