Holiday Lights At The Lake Of The Ozarks

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around the Lake of the Ozarks! To get in the spirit of the holiday even more, many areas around the Lake are setting up light displays and your Lake of the Ozark real estate agent has all details.


Enchanted Village of Lights

The Enchanted Village of Lights at the Laurie Fairgrounds is presented by the City of Laurie. It is one of the largest drive-through holiday light parks in mid-Missouri. There is no charge to drive through the Enchanted Village and look at the lights, however, any donations are greatly appreciated. 

When: November 18 - January 1
Where: Laurie Fairgrounds
Time: Open nightly 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. (until 10:00 p.m. on weekends)
Price: Donations welcomed

St. Patrick's Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights at the Shrine of St. Patrick, off HWY 5 in Laurie, is the oldest light park in the area. It began in 1981 with hundreds of lights decorating the buildings and grounds and has continued to grow each year. Now with 4,000 strings of lights, over 60 automatic timers and more than 350 extension cords, the Festival of Lights has turned into one of the major places to see in the area this time of the year. The gift shop will be open Thursday - Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. to welcome guests and serve hot chocolate and cider. 

When: November 24 - January 1

Time: Daily 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. 

Deck The Docks Holiday Light Cruise

The 6th annual Deck The Docks Festival of Lights will embark on a cruise each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to tour sparkly docks and lakefront homes decorated for the holidays. This tour will be benefiting Dogwood Animal Shelter. All passengers must book reservations in advance.

When: November 25 - December 30 (Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays)
Where: Celebration Cruises
Time: 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Price: $25 per person

Versailles Unity Circle Of Lights

The City of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights for the 10th time! The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community. This light display will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. 

When: November 26 - January 1
Where: Versailles City Park
Time: From dark until midnight

Osage Beach Holiday Lights

Holiday themed lights will be on display at the Osage Beach City Park and at various locations along Osage Beach Parkway. 

When: November 26 - December 31 (Wednesdays - Sundays)
Where: Osage Beach City Park & Osage Beach Parkway
Time: Evenings

Frosty Float

Go on a magical journey cruising the Lake of the Ozarks. Gaze at the beautiful Christmas light displays and enjoy listening to Christmas carols. There will also be fun, children's activities, hot cocoa and cookies. Santa will also be making an appearance on the cruise and all little guests will receive a special gift from him! 

When: December 4, 11 & 18
Where: Celebration Cruises
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Price: $20 per person
